One Minute Sculptures

Inspired By Erwin Wurm

One minute sculptures are meant to be a spontaneous and often unexpected interaction between everyday objects and the environment. As these sculptures can last no substantial amount of time they are recorded using film or photograph.

I think these sculptures were interesting as it questions the nature and concept of sculpture.

I also very much like the limited time aspect of these pieces, as they can not practicaly survive in a physical form for very long bringing ideas such as life and death, survival and mortality.

Exploration

These photos were taken around Chesterfield Town centre, using the 'firing from the hip' technique and trying to capture a feel for Chesterfield. Minimal editing was done after to keep the observational style.
